Dr. Paul Schreibman of New Vienna, formerly of Dayton, Fort Recovery and Yellow Springs, passed away Thursday, May 24, 2018, at his residence, after a long battle with cancer.
Paul completed a fellowship at Harvard Medical School and was an instructor of medicine at Harvard Medical School, an associate professor at The Rockefeller University and professor of internal medicine at Wright State University. Paul has been heard to say, "It took me 30 years to become a doctor and another 30 to become a doc."
He served in private practice and emergency care, was a world traveler and provided medical care for underserved countries including South Africa & Belize and served as MD on a trek through the Himalayan Mountains.
Paul is survived by his son, David Schreibman of CA; daughters, Laura Barron of Toronto, Canada & Susan Ford of WA; brother, Daniel Schreibman of CA; grandchildren, Bret & Jacob Schreibman, Macie Melendez, Rafael, Ketzia & Simona Barron; great-grandchildren, Boston Schreibman, Ace & Zeke Melendez; and many other relatives & friends.
