Kenneth L. Rosengarten, 67, of Coldwater, died on Friday, August 11, 2017, at Briarwood Village in Coldwater.
He was born November 5, 1949, in Celina to the late LeRoy & Betty (Pleiman) Rosengarten. On October 11, 1975 he married Diane (Campbell), who survives in Coldwater. He is survived two daughters and their husbands, Katie & Joe Berndsen of Lebanon, N.H., and Molly & Zach Stephenson of Celina; four grandchildren, Andrew & Wesley Berndsen and Caleb & Lauren Stephenson; a brother Steve & Kathy Rosengarten of Beavercreek; a sister Diane & Kurt Sauer of Warren; and a sister-in-law Bonnie Ellison of Dayton.
He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater and the Celina Kiwanis. Ken enjoyed traveling, the outdoors, reading, going to Ohio State football games and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He volunteered at Community Hospital.
Ken was a member of the Ohio Retired Teachers Association. He was an educator his entire career, starting in St. Henry Schools, later becoming the Mercer County Gifted Program Coordinator and finally an assistant professor of teacher education at Wright State Lake Campus.
