Thursday, September 19, 9:30 am to 11 am
023 Dunbar Library
Led by Jeff Hiles, Instructional Designer, CTL. When you hand out documents digitally you enable a wealth of features not available when you just give students paper copies. In this workshop, you’ll learn a number of best practices for digital documents. One is to structure documents with styles, for example. That enables an easily-rearranged outline view, allows you to make links to headings in your document, empowers students who can’t see to more easily navigate the page, and makes creating a heading a snap. You’ll also learn to make good links, add alternative text for images, and more.
