End your exam week with an outdoor adventure as we go white water rafting in the beautiful Youghiogheny River! We will be rafting Class III/IV waters with a local guide and sleeping in tents in Ohiopyle State Park. The interesting and one of a kind ecosystems will leave you in wonder as we explore challenging but inviting rapids for new and experienced rafters.

Cost: $215

Cost Includes: ORC trip leaders, local guide fee, all paddling equipment, all camping equipment, meals on location, all permits, camping fees, and transportation from WSU in 12-passenger van.

Activity Level: Beginner-Advanced Rafters. Must have strong swimming skills.

Registration: Up to 10 participants Registration required by Monday, April 13 or when full. Click here to register 

Itinerary:

Day 1- Saturday, May 2: Meet at WSU and get ready to head out to Ohiopyle to hike, eat yummy food around a campfire, and camp for the night

Day 2- Sunday, May 3: Make breakfast. Meet with the guide to head down the rapids for the day and arrive back at camp between 4-6 pm

Day 3- Monday, May 4: Cook breakfast, pack up camp. Drive four hours stopping for lunch on the way. Arrive at WSU by 1:00 pm
