Special Screening of Above the Best

Join us for the Dayton premiere of the new documentary film "Above the Best" by directors David Salzberg and Christian Turead. The documentary is based on the book "South of Heaven: My Year in Afghanistan." The film tells the story of Apache Fighter Pilot Dan Flores and his deployment to the most dangerous valley in Afghanistan. Joshua Lang, co-producer, Army veteran, and former crew chief, will be on hand to answer questions. The program is sponsored by the Wright State University Veteran and Military Center, Wright State University Special Collections and Archives, and the Huffman Prairie Aviation Historical Society. Doors open at 6:30pm and film starts at 7pm. The event is free and open to the public.
