The Graduate Public History concentration is holding its seventh annual Public History Symposium on Friday, March 10, in the Apollo Room of the Student Union.  This year's theme is "Public History: A Study of Community," and the event will feature a keynote address on public history education by Dawn Kirchner of the Boonshoft Museum of Discovery, as well as a number of graduate student presentations and posters.  The symposium will start at 9:30, and run until 4:00.  No registration is required, and the event is open to the public.
