The Auglaize County Historical Society and the Wright State University-Lake Campus Outreach and Diversity Committee will present "To Keep Moving Forward" with Lyn Ford on Tuesday, January 18, 7 pm, on the Historical Society Facebook page.

Statements from Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., become the starting or ending points of folktales and stories of resilience and strength from the diversity of African storytelling traditions in this program for ages 8 through adults, which is free and open to the public.

To access the event, simply go to the Auglaize County Historical Society's Facebook page--also accessible via https://www.facebook.com/AuglaizeCountyHistory   --a little before 7pm on January 18. The program will appear as the most current post on the page. Make sure you adjust your volume (on the screen), if needed.

Lyn Ford is grateful for her roots in spoken word art and the creative narrative passed down in her Affrilachian family. Lyn is an award-winning storyteller and writer, an Ohio teaching artist, a certified laughter yoga teacher, an international keynote speaker and workshop presenter, and a member of the National Association of Black Storytellers' Circle of Elders.
