Dr. Nathan Bowling will be giving a presentation about Industrial Organizational Psychology.

As many of you know, Dr. Bowling is one of our tenured faculty here at Wright State and he earned his Ph.D. in Industrial Organizational Psychology.

Please come if you have any interest in this field, or are simply interested in learning more about it.  For those who don't know, Industrial Organizational Psychology is the field of Psychology that focuses on people at work.  Industrial Organizational Psychologists study how to hire the right employees, train employees, motivate people, what personality factors are important for certain job activities, etc.

One cool fact about Industrial Organizational Psychology is that the United States Department of Labor projects it to be the FASTEST GROWING job for the next 10 years!!! (http://www.bls.gov/emp/ep_table_103.htm).

Again, anyone is welcome to come to this presentation.  Please RSVP to this email psychadv@psych.wright.edu if you are planning to come so that we can know how many people to expect.

Finally, as always, snacks will be provided.
