Afro Giving Fest is basically our version of Thanksgiving, but centered around African culture. It’s a time for people to come together, share food, and just appreciate being in community with one another. The focus isn’t just on eating, but on giving back, showing gratitude, and making sure everyone feels included.
For a lot of people, especially students who are far from home, it creates a space that feels warm and welcoming. It’s about connection, culture, and that feeling of being surrounded by people who care.
