Cornhole becomes fastest-growing club activity at Wright State

The Wright State Cornhole Club has quickly grown into a popular student activity, drawing more than 20 members and preparing both recreational and competitive players for upcoming tournaments.
Wright State Club Football opened their 2025 season with a thrilling home victory over the Oakland Grizzlies. Starting Quarterback Sam Whitten left the game before halftime with a shoulder injury, which left Matthew Gorrasi to lead the Raiders offense.
As Wright State continues to grow, our Club Sports program expands with it—bringing new opportunities, more teams, and more ways for students to get involved.

What started as two Wright State students wanting to try something new has blossomed into almost two dozen Raiders training several days per week and traveling the country for thrills and adventures.
