Wright State Competitive Dance attended the Dance Team Union Summer Camp (DTU) from August 1–3, 2025.

Senior Bri Chan impressed judges with her jumps and leaps, taking home hardware in the Battle Champ Competition and earning a pin from the DTU staff.

Junior Abbie Henderson stepped into the improv battle and held her own. She showcased her skills alongside teammates Bri Chan (Senior), Savannah Hendricks (Junior), and Octavia Beal (Sophomore) fellow athletes who recognized all four as standout dancers.

To close out the DTU competition, the Wright State Dance Team earned the Grit and Grind Award for their heart and hustle throughout camp.

Coach Lacey Loges shared her pride, noting, “These dancers pushed themselves in every way and still found time to make new friends and show love to every team around them. I am so incredibly proud of this team.”

WSUDT is excited to carry this momentum into the upcoming season, starting with a performance at the Dayton Dragons baseball game at Day Air Ballpark on August 9, 2025.
