Overview

This page introduces you to Microsoft Office 365 Online Communities. Communities inlude Office 365 Sites, Office 365 Groups, and Mysites, all of which give users a place to collaborate with co-workers, classmates, and others. The service descriptions on this page are intended to help you decide which online community is best for your needs. If you want to request your own online community, use the button at the bottom of the page. 

 

Office 365 Sites

Office 365 Sites are online communities supporting university organizations, projects and other Wright State-related functions. If you are an official Wright State organization, such as a college, department, committee, research project, etc., Office 365 Sites are recommended.

Important Note: Deleted content is only recoverable for 90 days

 

Office 365 Groups

Office 365 Groups offer a place to organize, plan, and schedule group activities. Files, email, calendars, and a notebook can be shared with all campus users or only members of the Group.

My Sites

A My Site is a personal site that gives you a central location to manage and store your documents, content, links, contacts, and allows WSU users to find information about you.

Important Notes

  • Site cannot be transferred 
  • Site is deleted when your Office 365 account is deleted
