The Help Desk was recently notified of an email phishing scam that
targets Wright State faculty, staff, and students. These emails may come
from an email address named “accounts@exkran.ru”, and may have a subject
line of “ABAX UK Invoice #______.”
Please do not click on any links or respond with any personal information.
This scam email also originally included a malicious attachment that was
properly flagged and removed by our new Email Attachment Defense
software from Proofpoint. You can learn more about this system at:
