Microsoft OneDrive for Business Coming Soon
On July 14, all university faculty, staff, and students will have access to another new service from Microsoft called OneDrive for Business.OneDrive for Business is a cloud storage solution for your files and work documents, and is accessible with any web browser. Along with OneDrive for Business, you will have access to the Office Web Apps, which are web versions of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote.
OneDrive for Business, accessible through your Office 365 account, comes with 25 GB of free storage space, which will soon be increased to 1 TB (terabyte). Your files can be kept private or you can share them with others. You will also have the ability to collaborate with others on a document.
Please remember that as you begin using OneDrive for Business, you should not store any files or documents that contain sensitive university data. If you do so, you will be in violation of Wright Way Policy 1106, which is the university’s IT Security Policy. See section 1106.03 on http://www.wright.edu/wrightway/1106 for further information.

Reminder: Microsoft Lync Also Available
CaTS also wants to remind you that the Microsoft Lync service was recently made available to all faculty, staff, and students of Wright State. Lync is a communications systems that provides voice and video chat, instant messaging capabilities, computer screen sharing, and more.
There are different versions of Lync, depending on your operating system or mobile device, with each one having some difference in features offered. If you would like to learn more about Lync, what versions are offered, and to see how it works, check out our Lync Help and Training website.
