New Faculty Orientation—Thursday, August 22

Register Online:  New Faculty Orientation

This will be your opportunity to meet many of your new colleagues and to learn from highly effective Wright State instructional faculty and productive researchers and scholars in the space of a single day. After a light continental breakfast and welcome event, New faculty orientation will offer short informative and hands-on sessions on the following topics:

  • Thriving as Faculty/Preparing for Advancement
  • Campus Culture and Shared Governance
  • New Classroom Technology
  • Library Support for Research or Teaching
  • Building a Course in Pilot (Wright State's learning management system)
  • Building a syllabus for student success.

A box lunch will be provided prior to the afternoon symposium, which will feature an exciting mix of workshops.
