All affected students will automatically be enrolled in the student health insurance plan. However, you are able to waive this plan if you provide proof of other coverage that meets Wright State's waiver criteria.
If you already have health insurance through:
- a parent's plan
- a spouse's plan
- TriCare or VA Benefits
- Medicaid or Individual Health Plan
you can submit an online waiver and keep your current coverage, as long as it meets Wright State's waiver criteria.
You have from July 1 to September 2, 2022 to waive the student insurance plan and remove the charge from your account for the 2022–23 school year.
Please note: It may take up to five business days after registering for classes before you are able to log in to waive student health insurance.
