About the HLC Focused Visit
Wright State will host a Focused Visit on April 24–25, 2023, during which a small team of peer reviewers will evaluate the extent to which the university has met the concerns of the Higher Learning Commission (HLC).
The Peer Review Team for our Focused Visit consists of the following members:
- Bruce Mackh, Ph.D., Vice Provost for Assessment and Chief Accreditation Officer
- Carl Brun, Ph.D.

About the HLC
The HLC accredits colleges and universities in a 19-state region of the United States.
Listening Sessions
The Office of the Provost will host three listening sessions to answer questions about the Focused Visit by the Higher Learning Commission on April 24 and 25. All listening sessions will be hosted virtually on Webex from 1 to 2 p.m.

The draft HLC Focused Visit Report is now available on the 2023 HLC Focused Visit Report webpage. The report must be submitted to the HLC by February 27.
The Focused Visit by the Higher Learning Commission will take place on April 24 and 25.
