Ohio Medical Education Day

Ohio Medical Education Day (OMED) is an annual event that introduces undergraduate students from across Ohio to the medical school journey. Hosted jointly by the Ohio Health Professions Association and a rotating Ohio medical school, this year's event will be held at Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine, the first time Wright State has hosted since 2014. Nearly 200 pre-medical students, along with pre-health advisors and medical school representatives, attend each year to learn about medical school preparation, admissions, and opportunities across Ohio. The event is intended for students who have not yet entered the medical school application cycle.
