Match Day

A longstanding tradition at medical schools nationwide, Match Day is a highly anticipated event. It is the day when graduating medical students across the nation learn where they will be going as new doctors to receive advanced clinical training in a residency program. At exactly noon on the third Friday in March, students will begin opening envelopes telling them if they matched in their first choice program or not.
