Have a legal question or concern? Equality Ohio will be partnering with TransOhio to host a free legal clinic at Wright State University's Student Union on Tuesday, October 8th from 6:00-8:00PM.
The Equality Ohio Legal Clinic offers FREE legal representation to members of the LGBTQ community in the following areas of law:
1. Criminal Justice Support/Advocacy, including protection orders, victims of crime compensation application, and law enforcement support interaction;
2. Family Law, including child support, custody, divorce, and guardianship;
3. Consumer Law, including identity theft, consumer debt negotiation, and creditor fraud reports;
4. Benefit Support, including health insurance, food assistance, and Social Security Disability applications;
5. Administrative Agency Support, including unemployment compensation and complaints to the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Ohio Civil
Rights Commission;
6. Expungement/Criminal Record Sealing;
7. Adult and Minor Legal Name Changes;
8. Landlord/Tenant Law;
9. And more!
No need to bring anything but your questions!
