Khalid Elgindy is the author of the newly released Blind Spot: Americans and Palestinians from Balfour to Trump (Brookings Institution Press, 2019). He is a nonresident senior fellow at the Brookings Institution, Center for Middle East Policy, and was a resident fellow from 2010 to 2018. He served an adviser to the Palestinian Authority in Ramallah on permanent status negotiations from 2004 to 2009 and was a key participant in the Annapolis negotiations held throughout 2008.
