From Wright State to the World: One Student's Story of Peace Corps and Living Abroad

Join us as we welcome Jacquelyn Weaver back to Wright State!  A Wright State alumna (Political Science and Religion, 2014), Jacquelyn has had multiple opportunities to live and work around the world.  She served in the Peace Corps in Bacco Seereer, Senegal and she is currently employed as a teacher with Morris Allen English in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Jacquelyn participated in multiple education abroad programs during her undergraduate years as well.  She plans to share some of these experiences through photography and stories of the people and cultures with which she has engaged.

This program is coordinated by the School of Public and International Affairs, with support from the M.A. Program in International and Comparative Politics, the International Studies Program, the University Honors Program, the Center for Liberal Arts Student Success, the Department of Religion, Philosophy and Classics, and the New Media Incubator (Inc.). Please contact Dr. Laura Luehrmann (laura.luehrmann@wright.edu) with any questions.

*Note for first-year Honors students: Fall 2018 first-year Honors students are required to attend one Dialogue during the 2018-2019 academic year to maintain priority registration status. Students not satisfying the Dialogue requirement will lose their priority registration status for one semester (Spring 2020). Look for the BLUE FOLDER to record your attendance on the sign-in sheet.
