Student concerns over biases on college campuses raise many questions, including what contemporary biases look like in today's college classroom and what campuses can do to reduce them. Attendees in this interactive workshop will learn about common biases students encounter in higher ed classroom settings, why these biases happen, their consequences for student engagement/success, and practical strategies for addressing these biases. This workshop is ideal for faculty/instructors in any discipline who would like to better understand how students may experience bias in the classroom and strategies for reducing biases to improve student success.
