Premier Health Wright State University Nursing Academy Students

Employees of Premier Health may be eligible for tuition assistance if you are enrolled in the Premier Health Wright State University Nursing Academy.

Benefits

As a student in the Premier Health Wright State University Nursing Academy (undergraduate students only), you may be eligible to receive up to $8,000 per calendar year (January to December) in tuition assistance from Premier Health. This valuable employee benefit can significantly reduce your educational costs, allowing you to focus on earning your nursing degree while preparing for a rewarding career with one of the region's leading health systems.

Premier Health Wright State University Non-Nursing Academy Students

Employees of Premier Health may be eligible for tuition assistance if you are enrolled at Wright State University in a non-nursing program.

Benefit amounts are determined by Premier Health. Please contact Premier Health with questions about your employee tuition assistance benefit.

Premier Health Tuition Assistance

If you are using Premier Health Tuition Assistance, you must submit your Letter of Credit (LOC) before the start of each term to ensure your tuition benefit is applied to your student account.

Please refer to the Academic Calendar to determine:

• The first day of classes
• The last day of classes
• The enrollment period for your term

Letter of Credit Requirements

Your Letter of Credit must:

• Include the enrollment period for the full term (first day of class through the last day of class). Letters of Credit with incorrect dates will be returned for correction.
  • Example (Fall): August 24–December 5, 2026
  • Example (Spring): January 12–April 25, 2027
  • Example (Summer): May 17–August 5, 2027
• List all credit-bearing courses, such as NUR 3480 or PSY 3090.
  • Zero-credit clinical or laboratory courses may be omitted.
• Be digitally signed and dated.
• Be submitted as a PDF (not a JPEG or other image format).
• Be emailed directly to wsubursar@wright.edu.

Email Requirements

• Include your University ID (UID) number.
• Nursing Academy students (undergraduate only): Indicate in the email that you are a Nursing Academy student.
• Non-Nursing Academy students: Include the degree program you are pursuing.

Important: Premier Health does not submit Letters of Credit on behalf of employees. You are responsible for submitting your completed Letter of Credit directly to the Office of the Bursar.

After You Submit

Once your Letter of Credit is received, the Office of the Bursar will verify your registration and apply the tuition credit to your student account within five business days.
