I am reiterating the policy on changing a course’s mode of delivery. Faculty who wish to change a course’s mode of delivery from that set forth in the published course schedule must submit a request to the Office of Disability Services citing the grounds under the American with Disabilities Act that justify the change. If approved by the ODS, approval from the dean of the appropriate college must then be granted.
A faculty member may not unilaterally change the mode of delivery; nor will changes be made that do not fall under the standard accommodation process, including accommodation requests based on an employee’s own health condition, whether COVID-related or not.
