ePortfolio

How long do students have access to the ePortfolio?

Student have ePortfolios in Pilot where they can collect and share artifacts of their activities here at Wright State. One use for this is to present evidence of accomplishments to prospective employers or to graduate program selection committees. How long students continue to have access to their ePortfolios depends on whether they graduate from Wright State.

Students who leave without graduating

“Once a student attends Wright State, if they stop taking classes, their account remains active for 3 consecutive semesters  (approx.. 1 year), then it goes inactive,” Says Jeff Bowman of CaTS. “A year after the account first went inactive, it is then deleted.”

Students who graduate

“Graduates get a 5 year extension once they graduate and it is renewable (upon request) indefinitely for 5 years at a time.”
