What is Push to Talk?
Push to Talk (PTT) is a walkie-talkie type service that allows you to instantly reach others by eliminating the dialing and ringing steps in a regular cellular call. Push to Talk calls can be made to one person or to a group of people.

How much will Push to Talk service cost?
Push to Talk is an add-on feature to your regular voice plan. You can purchase Unlimited Push to Talk minutes with Nation Plans for $9.99 per month per line and with FamilyTalk for $19.99 a month per group (2 to 5 lines)

Can I have Push to Talk service without a voice plan?
No. Push to Talk is an add-on feature and requires a regular voice plan.

What type of phone do I need if I want to use Push to Talk?
The Push to Talk service can only be used on those phones which are Push to Talk capable.

Can I make Push to Talk calls nationwide?
Push to Talk calls, to one person or a group of people, can be completed across most of the ALLOVER network coverage area. See Push to Talk coverage map for details.

Are the minutes I use on Push to Talk calls included as part of my regular voice plan?
Because Push to Talk is a separate feature from your regular phone service, minutes incurred while using Push to Talk will not be charged to your voice package minutes. However, when converting a Push to Talk call to cellular the cellular minutes are considered Mobile to Mobile and will be charged according to the Mobile to Mobile pricing option you have selected along with your voice plan.

Do I have a separate Push to Talk phone number?
Your Push to Talk number is the same 10 digit number you use as your mobile number.

Can I make or receive a Push to Talk call without using the speaker phone?
Yes. You can set your availability to silent or vibrate and incoming Push to Talk calls will play over the phone's earpiece instead of speaker.

Push to Talk calls generally begin over the speakerphone but can be changed to the earpiece at anytime.
