Admissions staff visited over 280 high schools and 120 college fairs this year, connecting with thousands of prospective students. New Application Days allow teams to visit high schools and admit students on the spot, expanding early access and outreach.
International recruitment remains strong—Wright State now ranks third among Ohio’s public universities for new international undergraduate enrollment.
At Lake Campus, a Summer Open House drew more than 100 prospective students and families, supported by faculty, staff, and community partners. Outreach at regional parades and fairs built local visibility and deepened community ties.
Enrollment in the BSN program rose 16.6% in one year, underscoring Wright State’s growing impact in healthcare education. College Credit Plus enrollment also increased 6%, giving more high school students early access to university courses.
Strategy 5.2 Operate as a Financially Sustainable and Resilient Institution
Institutional Research and Student Success teams developed Power BI dashboards that provide leaders with clear insights into student outcomes, retention, and graduation rates, advancing data-driven decision making.
Training sessions are underway to expand data literacy among campus users, supporting a culture of informed planning and accountability.
The University Libraries reduced costs by $10,000 through improved streaming video contracts and completed a major facility upgrade in Special Collections and Archives, improving energy efficiency and protecting archival resources.
Strategy 5.3 Establish a Strong, Consistent Brand Identity
Wright State’s Further campaign continues to energize campus and community spaces, with new banners, signage, and marketing materials reinforcing a unified brand identity.
Social media engagement has surged—TikTok followers grew 378%, and Wright State’s overall engagement rate of 3.3% outperforms most peer institutions. These efforts strengthen visibility, pride, and connection across Raider Country.
