[OFFICIAL-L] Karen Wilhoit to Retire as University Librarian

Dear Colleagues,

I am writing to inform you that University Librarian Karen Wilhoit will retire on February 29 after more than 30 years of service at Wright State University.

During her career with the Wright State University Libraries, Ms. Wilhoit has held several important leadership roles. She joined the University Libraries in 1992 as the head of the bibliographic control department. She later served as head of technical services, associate university librarian for collections and technical services, and associate university librarian for collections and technical services. In 2021, she was appointed university librarian.

The University plans to appoint an interim university librarian soon.

Please join me in thanking Karen Wilhoit for her dedication to Wright State University and wishing her well in retirement.
