Vision Service Plan Vision BenefitsAn employee who enrolls for medical coverage is automatically enrolled for vision coverage for the same family members as for medical coverage. There is no additional employee contribution for vision coverage. There is no option to enroll for vision coverage only. The university provides vision coverage through Vision Service Plan (VSP). This coverage provides benefits for covered services from any optometrist or ophthalmologist. Benefits are greater with lower out-of-pocket costs for services provided by a VSP network provider.
