Led by Jeff Hiles, Instructional Designer, CTL.  The authors of Universal Design in Higher Education draw on case studies, student reflections, and a wealth of experience to show how the principles of Universal Design can help make your courses more inclusive and effective. With roots in architecture, Universal Design principles help create environments that all people, regardless of age, size, ability, or disability, can access, understand, and use to the greatest extent possible. Those who practice Universal Design find that when you attend to the needs of those most likely to be marginalized, your design works better for everyone.
