About Wright State Online

Wright State Online is designed to empower faculty to improve online teaching and learning. By designing courses to meet nationally recognized quality assurance standards, and integrating effective instructional design and cutting-edge digital technologies, Wright State Online provides faculty with critical pedagogical support. It exemplifies the transformational power of academic and non-academic units working together to increase student access to high quality online courses.

Creating and Teaching a Wright State Online Course

Wright State Online encourages stakeholders to propose online courses through the proposal process. The process begins with a brief Online Course Proposal, which will include a joint letter of support from your College/School dean and chair. Proposals will be reviewed on a rolling basis. If the proposal aligns with the strategic goals of the Office of the Provost, an Agreement to Develop a Program Distance Learning Course will be created for all interested parties to sign.
