It is with regret that I inform you that Dr. Tammy Kahrig has resigned from Wright State University effective April 30, 2022, to pursue other opportunities.
Among her many responsibilities, Dr. Kahrig served as the accreditation liaison officer, a position the Higher Learning Commission requires institutions name as their primary point of contact for the commission and who have overall responsibility for ensuring a solid relationship with the HLC. I have worked with many accreditation liaison officers; seldom, however, have I worked with someone as highly qualified and dedicated as Dr. Kahrig. I have benefitted throughout my time at Wright State from the clarity and dedication she brought to all the elements of her role as vice provost of undergraduate curriculum and instruction, assessment, and institutional accreditation. She leaves Wright State University in a strong position as the university prepares for the various accreditation activities that are scheduled in the coming years.
I am confident you will join me in thanking Dr. Kahrig for all she has done for Wright State and in wishing her continued professional success.
Oliver H. Evans, Ph.D.
Interim Provost
