Finding the right fit
Yakai Kamara, a public health and organizational leadership major, has done a lot to find her place after transferring to Wright State.
You can take courses that prepare you to teach students in grades 4-9 in the middle childhood education program. The curriculum will help you learn how to be developmentally responsive during this transition, addressing the unique needs of young adolescents. Pursue a Bachelor of Science degree at the Dayton or Lake Campus, a Master of Education degree, a licensure program, or a generalist endorsement.
