Wright State English alumna Rishan Habte is a program officer for economic empowerment at Lutheran Immigrant and Refugee Services.
The English program will give you a broad foundation in English language and linguistics, literature, and writing while allowing you to pick a track that best meets your needs. You will develop excellent writing and oral communication skills, critical thinking, and career-focused skills based on the track you choose. You can work in technical or professional writing, editing, creative writing, education, marketing, and in business, nonprofits, and organizations in a wide variety of sectors or go on to graduate study at Wright State. Choose from a Bachelor of Arts, a Master of Arts, add a minor to your existing degree, or complete a certificate.
