Urban Affairs
What we offer
If you want to make communities better places to live, the urban affairs program at Wright State may be right for you! You will study cities and urban life within local, regional, national, and global contexts. You will increase your vision, communication skills, and ability to organize and manage a skilled workforce. Prepare for a professional position in government, a nonprofit organization, or a private sector business. Pursue a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree or add an urban affairs minor to your existing major. The B.A. degree emphasizes the qualitative aspects of public service management, while the B.S. degree emphasizes quantitative data analysis. You can also pursue a bachelor’s degree with a concentration in nonprofit management, urban management, or urban planning.
