You can take courses that deepen your knowledge of a region and faith that is central to both the dynamics of history and current political and economic affairs by adding a Middle Eastern and Islamic Studies minor to your existing Wright State major. This program will help prepare you for global career options by increasing your knowledge of Arabic, Islam, and Middle Eastern history, religion, and politics. The academic focus will be on the Arab world, Iran, Israel, and Turkey in the period after the advent of Islam in the seventh century
