Classes will be held remotely for the remainder of the spring semester, and all official university events and student activities are suspended until further notice. In the German program, you will study the language, history, culture, literature, and film of the German-speaking world. You will develop strong oral and written proficiency in the language, as well as cultural competence to understand how German culture as evolved and affected areas of the world. You can go on to work in fields like business, cultural organizations, and education or continue your studies at the graduate level. Choose the Bachelor of Arts, add a minor to an existing degree, or add the German licensure to your program.
