In the art history program, you will explore the visual past and the significance of art to human culture across time. This interdisciplinary program emphasizes the development of research skills, critical analysis, and effective written and oral communication. You can go on to work as an art historian in a gallery, museum, auction house, archive, or cultural institution or work in fields as varied as visual resource management, historic preservation, appraisal, cultural tourism and publishing, or go on to graduate study in fields like education, law, or business.
