College Study Strategies

Hi, I am David Hurwitz, the instructor for UVC 100.

The goal of this course is to help students acquire the study skills necessary to be successful in their academic work.

These "study skills" are simply patterns of behavior, or habits, that provide positive academic results. If your current patterns of behavior are not giving you positive results, you might want to give my suggestions a try. I teach what I call a "STUDY SYSTEM." The links (in red) on these pages will take you through the parts of the study system. Sometimes you may need to use the "BACK" button on your browser to get around. These pages are new and I still need to iron out some glitches. If you have any suggestions, send me an e-mail.
