Two of Dayton’s largest colleges are expanding their transfer agreement by launching dozens of new pathways for students to earn bachelor’s degrees.
Between Aug. 1 and Sept. 15, Sinclair Community College and Wright State University signed 25 new articulation agreements for the “Wright Path” program — a transfer arrangement that enables students to pursue a bachelor’s degree at Wright State after earning an associate’s degree at Sinclair.
The expanded partnership opens up new bachelor’s degree pathways in the following fields:
- Biological sciences
- Computer engineering
- Crime and justice studies
- Geography
- Information technology and cybersecurity
- Organizational leadership
- Psychology
Wright Path is a “2+2” program — a common type of academic partnership that allows students to attend a community college for two years, then transfer to another college or university for two more years.
The partnership is designed to provide “seamless student movement” between the institutions by eliminating barriers, promoting student success, utilizing shared resources and expanding student housing options for Sinclair students.
Since its establishment, Sinclair and Wright State have signed more than 60 articulation agreements through Wright Path. A full list can be found here.
