Yolett McPhee-McCuin has added the third off-season addition from the NCAA transfer portal, as Angel Baker announced her commitment to the Ole Miss women's basketball program on Wednesday. Baker is a 5-8 guard from Wright State, a team that advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament this season. Why did Baker choose Ole Miss?

"Definitely because I believe in Coach Yo'," Baker said. "I believe in the vision she has for the program. I believe in where she can take me and she can build me for my next step in life. I also think that I can have an impact on the team. That's why I'm coming to Ole Miss."

Baker describes herself as a scoring point guard.

"That's what I am. I'm a scoring point guard. I've played off the ball the last two years here at Wright State. I haven't really been able to play the point guard position, but I do think I'm a scoring point guard. I think I can get my teammates in the right spot and that I have a great passing ability, even though it wasn't really displayed," said Baker.

Baker plans to arrive on the Ole Miss campus in late May.

"I'm ready to get down there and get to work," she said.
