The Greene CATS provide public transit service in Greene and Montgomery counties, and is open to the general public. Anyone is eligible to ride the system, and wheelchar service is offered. All fares are exact change. Tokens are available for purchase at the Greene CATS office located at 571 Ledbetter Road, Xenia, OH 45385. Services offered are demand-responsive and flex-service.
The demand responsive service is curb-to-curb and changes daily, depending on demand. Greene County is the primary service area for the demand responsive public transit service. Service is also available to and from Montgomery county. Contact Greene CATS for pricing information.
The flex-service travels a constant route (with flag stops). Contact Greene CATS for pricing informtation. If you are within ¾ of a mile from the flex-service route, the flex-service can deviate to come to you. To request such a deviation, please call Scheduling at (937) 562-6466 or 877-227-2287; Fairborn residents call (937) 426-1779 ext. 6466 by noon the business day before the day you need service.
The Service #60 Greene CATS will offer enhanced demand responsive service in the Fairborn-Wright State-northern Beavercreek corridor. The Service #60 bus will end its nightly run at Xenia Towne Square in Xenia. The hours are Monday-Friday 6 a.m.-1 a.m., with no major holidays. Contact Greene CATS for pricing information.
