Important Student Employment Updates

April 18, 2013

Wright State University administrators continue to work daily on all matters relevant to the impacts of Health Care legislation related to our student employee population. In order to consider all options for making decisions that are in the best interest of the majority of our student employee population it has been determined that more information, data & time are needed. Therefore, supervisors of Wright State summer student employees may plan to utilize the existing Maximum Work Hour policies and all current student employee policies as a basis for scheduling summer work hours. It is likely that the current policies will remain in effect through June 21, 2013. It is also likely that there may be announcement of student employee policy changes before June 21, 2013 which may be implemented and effective as early as June 22, 2013. Thank you for your patience and understanding as the university navigates these complex considerations. We will post new information as soon as it becomes available . . . Read more
