Volunteer Opportunities
Transforming the communities we serve is truly embraced by the entire Wright State campus. This is the first initiative that concentrates on the volunteering activities of Wright State University staff members and we thank you for helping to make it successful. There are many wonderful organizations that need help. Identify a volunteer opportunity today »
You will be guided through the process by prompts.
We encourage you to check with your supervisor and co-workers to ask for their involvement with the project. Contact a We Serve U committee member if you have any questions.

Montgomery County Ohio College Promise Program
the Montgomery County Ohio College Promise Program has recently selected their third cohort of 53 College Promise Scholars and are actively recruiting mentors to serve them.
Their mission is to identify, select and support up to 500 Montgomery County, poverty impacted, eighth grade students within the next 10 years that have shown academic promise so that the dream of attending and graduating from college becomes a reality.
Each student will be supported through high school by an adult mentor and by programming offered by Sinclair, Wright State University, Central State University, Denison University, Kettering College and other partner agencies.
You are invited you to consider serving one of these students as a College Promise mentor. Additional information about the College Promise Program and the mentoring component can be found on our web site at www.mcocp.org or by calling Gary Smiga at 937-225-9922.
