11 a.m. College Meetings
Locations announced at the Opening Session
At your College Meeting you will touch base with an academic advisor, learn Student Success tips, receive College updates and mingle with students who share your major.
12 p.m. President’s Picnic
Alumni Tower Join the President for a complimentary lunch.
1:30 – 2 p.m. Campus Safety Presentation
120 Medical Sciences Learn about services provided by the Wright State University Police Department as well as receive tips for your transition to Wright State.
1:30 – 3 p.m. Wright Commitment
Apollo Room, Student Union Participate in a service project to benefit Kids Read Now!
2:30 & 3:30 p.m. Classroom Tours
Meet at BART (Red Sculpture in the center of campus) Know where you’re going! Reunite with your Orientation Mentors as they help you find the classrooms for your first semester. Bring your class schedule!
5 – 11 p.m Evening Activities

This week will be packed with many opportunities for new and returning students to learn about Wright State, get involved, and HAVE FUN! Welcome Week is full of departmental and student organization events that give you an opportunity to meet other students, faculty, and staff and learn what Wright State is all about, while celebrating the start of the school year.

At Wright State, we believe that Orientation continues through your entire first year. Some highlights of Ongoing Orientation include the Student Organization Fair, Orientation group reunions, a presentation on registering for your second semester, programs on how to excel in the classroom, service projects, and more.
