Semester courses (included is the new AB prefix):

college representatives, the committee made revisions to
many
of the courses.
Program Semester Conversion The committee reviewed the
following Minor programs from the CEHS. Individuals
should login to the Program Inventory Workflow or visit
the UCAPC Quarter to Semester Transition website to
review any revisions made to these programs.
The committee reviewed the
following program changes for the CEHS. Changes reflect
the HPR to KNH (new prefix) roll overs. Individuals
should login to the Program Inventory Workflow or visit
the UCAPC Quarter to Semester Transition website to
review any revisions made to these programs.
Academic Policies The committee reviewed the
following Fresh Start Semester Policy and requested
several changes be incorporated and brought before the
committee at its next meeting.
Other Academic Matters The committee discussed
the academic policies associated with the following
issues:
1. There seemed to be no problem with the Registrar adding the following section specific clarifications at the course scheduling window: Section Specific Clarifications 2. As with each previous year, the committee expressed much desire in having the Registrar implement the enforcement of course prerequisites for student registration in courses. It was expressed that the absence of enforcement creates student advising problems, course enrollment problems in locking prerequisite accomplished students out of needed classes, and puts the burden of prerequisite policing and enforcement unduly upon faculty teaching courses and/or department administration of courses. If it cannot be programed for the Fall 2012, then it should follow thereafter. Fall meetings and deadlines for submission as well as Senate approvals as follows:
