October 23 Meeting Approved Minutes of September 27, 2006. WSU Student Transcripts via BannerThe chair reported that Todd
Brittingham, Associate Registrar, contacted him and announced that with
the implementation of Banner there is now the capability to record and
display concentrations (sub definitions of majors including options and
tracks) on student transcripts. Discussions took place and while he has
received some requests from colleges/departments to display such on
transcripts, presently there is no mechanism to determine the
population of concentrations, etc. existing at WSU that Banner can see
and integrate into the system. Therefore, a department/college must
contact Todd Brittingham to inform him of the wish to include existing
concentrations, etc. on the transcripts of all students
completing the curriculum requirements of those concentrations, etc. Of
course, only
"existing approved" concentrations, etc. that have gone through the
Faculty Senate and UCAPC processes are allowable. Todd may be
contacted
