The University System of Ohio and the Ohio Board of Regents have created transfer programs that guarantee a seamless transfer of credits.

Ohio Transfer Assurance Guide (TAG’s)
Ohio Career Technical Credit Transfer (CT2)
Ohio Transfer Module
Students who have completed the Ohio Transfer Module (OTM) at another school will be considered to have completed Wright State's General Education requirements.
General education requirements at Ohio's public colleges and universities represent a shared body of knowledge and academic skills.
The Ohio Board of Regents requires each school to identify a set of such courses (54-60 quarter hours or 36-40 semester hours) in the following areas:
- English Composition
- Mathematics
- Arts/Humanities
- Social and Behavioral Sciences
- Natural and Physical Sciences
Some programs require specific courses as prerequisites for more advanced major courses. Therefore, you might be required to take additional courses to meet program requirements, even with a completed OTM.
Prerequisite courses apply to all students.
Wright State also considers all individually approved Ohio Transfer Module courses (taken Fall 2005 or later) toward your general education requirements.
A list of Ohio Transfer Modules is available through the Ohio Board of Regents Credit Transfer website.
For more information, discuss the applicability of your transfer credit with your academic advisor.
Ohio Transfer Assurance Guide (TAG)
The Transfer Assurance Guide (TAG) program identifies foundational courses in over 30 majors. These courses have been reviewed as exact equivalents and are guaranteed to transfer statewide for students in that major.
All Ohio public institutions participate in this program.
The Transfer Assurance Guide (TAG) Reporting System (on the Ohio Board of Regents website) will help you cross-reference approved courses between other schools and Wright State.
Ohio Career Technical Credit Transfer (CT2)
Students completing certain courses at secondary or adult career-technical education institutions can transfer credit to state institutions of higher education.
Over 10 technical majors are being reviewed, but Wright State may not offer programs in those fields.
For detailed information, visit the Ohio Board of Regents Career Technical Credit Transfer website.
* Important Tip: It’s always best to contact an advisor at Wright State to discuss your transfer credit. Check the Contacts page for more information.
