Students can participate in service-learning courses, which include community service projects that meet community needs and address course learning objectives. These projects have included tutoring and mentoring children and adults, poverty programs, environmental projects, health and wellness opportunities and business type opportunities.

In addition to service-learning courses, there are numerous volunteer opportunities, day of service events, an end-of-spring-term service-learning trip, and several service abroad opportunities that engage students in projects to help others.
